Appointment of Honorary Freeman of the Borough HONORARY FREEDOM OF THE BOROUGH MOTION TO BE MOVED BY Councillor Ellen
Cargill and seconded by Councillor Harry Howard: That In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 249 of the Local Government Act 1972, the Council do posthumously admit Councillor Arthur Cole as an Honorary Freeman of the Borough of Halton in recognition as being a person of distinction who had tendered long and eminent service to the Borough. Minutes: Moved by Councillor Ellen Cargill and seconded by Councillor Harry Howard and unanimously:- RESOLVED: That Councillor Arthur Cole be posthumously admitted as an Honorary Freeman of the Borough of Halton. |
