26.	Minutes Minutes: The Minutes of the meeting held on 1 September 2015 having been circulated were signed as a correct record.
27.	Licensing Act 2003 - Statement of Licensing Policy PDF 256 KB View the background to item 27. Minutes: The Committee considered the responses received following the consultation exercise undertaken by the Council in connection with the review of the Statement of Licensing Policy as authorised at its meeting held on 17 June 2015. A number of representations (together with drafting and layout improvements) were approved for recommendation to the Council. RESOLVED: That 1) Having considered the responses to the consultation exercise undertaken by the Council the amended draft Statement of Licensing Policy as approved by the Committee be recommended to Council for adoption; and 2) Council be recommended to a) adopt the Statement of Licensing Policy attached to the report, to come into effect immediately following the expiry of the current Policy; and b) direct the Operational Director, Legal and Democratic Services, to publish the Statement in accordance with Section 5 of the Licensing Act 2003.
28.	Gambling Act 2005- Statement of Gambling Policy PDF 64 KB View the background to item 28. Additional documents: STATEMENT OF GAMBLING POLICY rev 8 April 2015 Final (2) , item 28. PDF 135 KB Minutes: The Committee were advised that no representations had been made to the Council in connection with the consultation exercise which had taken place on the review of the Statement of Gambling Policy (which had been authorised by the Committee at is meeting held on 17 June 2015). This was taken as an indication of general satisfaction with the balance struck in the consultation draft. RESOLVED: That 1) Having undertaken a consultation exercise the draft Statement of Gambling Policy approved by the Committee be recommended to the Council for adoption. 2) Council be recommended to a) adopt the Statement of Gambling Policy attached to the report, to come into effect immediately following the expiry of the current Policy; and b) direct the Operational Director, Legal and Democratic Services to publish the Statement in accordance with Section 349 of the Gambling Act 2005 and the Gambling Act 2005 (Licensing Authority Policy Statement) (England and Wales) Regulations 2006.
