Require urgent approval of grant funding to comply with funding restrictions to be allocated by 31st March 2025.

MHCLG awarded additional winter pressures funding to the Local Authority, totalling £474,000. The spend guidelines confirmed that each Local Authority must spend or at least commit the funding award by the 31st March 2025.

The funding allocation will be used to increase staffing within the Housing Solutions Team and also to continue with existing service delivery to prevent homelessness across the Borough.
