The Delivery and
Allocations Local Plan was submitted to the Secretary
of State for independent examination in March 2020. The Examination process has identified a
number of issues that need to be resolved by ‘Main
Modifications’ to the Plan. These are changes
that are required for the Plan to be found ‘sound’ which
would allow the Council to move to adopt the plan. These modifications need to be subject to
formal public consultation for a period not less than 6 weeks in compliance
with the adopted Statement of Community Involvement.
